This is a piece I did for an art challenge. The idea was "rust". I thought of how we are covering the world with metal and concrete, and a sign of civilization and also of control. To dominate the "wildness" of the world.
I used the character Kaldrath, from Uteria to illustrate the greed and control aspect of the piece. You can read more about Kaldrath at my Uteria Wiki.

Not sure what's going on with his hand. Fire coming up? Something draining out? Hard to tell. Also not sure how symmetrical the mask is supposed to be but the right eyehole, relative to the viewer, is larger than the left (yes, I measured). I like the feel of the piece, just mentioning what's standing out to me.
