Steampunk Airship Mechanic

This is the beginning of my costume for this years Dragoncon. It is going to be a Airship Mechanic aboard the SS Aradan.

Me and the others at Aradani Studios came up with an idea that the humans when trying out a ship to jump through time, actually jumped into the middle of the city of Alvaron, a steampunk era fey city. So the elves, orcs, ogres, dwarves and gnomes now trade regularly with the humans by jumping through the "Never".

The SS Aradan is an elvish run ship that is a "Riftjumper" or an airship that travels back and forth between the lands.

My character is a half faun, half elf mechanic who keeps the engines running.

This is just the basic under costume. I am working on some props including a fancy airtank/mask combo as well as some leather work.
